BusTimeout

Enum BusTimeout

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum BusTimeout { Maximum, Disabled, BusCycles(u32), }
Available on crate feature unstable only.
Expand description

I2C SCL timeout period.

When the level of SCL remains unchanged for more than timeout bus clock cycles, the bus goes to idle state.

Default value is BusCycles(10).

Note that the effective timeout may be longer than the value configured here.

§Stability

This API is marked as unstable and is only available when the unstable crate feature is enabled. This comes with no stability guarantees, and could be changed or removed at any time.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Maximum

Use the maximum timeout value.

§

Disabled

Available on i2c_master_has_bus_timeout_enable only.

Disable timeout control.

§

BusCycles(u32)

Timeout in bus clock cycles.
