CpuRetentionMemory

Struct CpuRetentionMemory

Source
pub struct CpuRetentionMemory { /* private fields */ }
Available on crate feature unstable only.
Expand description

Memory that light sleep uses to retain the CPU domain.

The sleep path writes this memory while the CPU domain has no power, so the buffer gives no way to read or write its contents through safe Rust.

Install the buffer with LowPower::install_cpu_retention_memory. The buffer must live in internal RAM that stays powered across light sleep. The #[ram(reclaimed)] attribute places a static inside the reachable range on chips that use the retention DMA.

§Stability

This API is marked as unstable and is only available when the unstable crate feature is enabled. This comes with no stability guarantees, and could be changed or removed at any time.
