Errors that can occur when the configuration is applied.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

UnsupportedNominalTiming

The nominal bit timing is outside the limits of the hardware.

UnsupportedFdTiming

The data phase bit timing is outside the limits of the hardware.

UnsupportedTimestampResolution

The timestamp resolution cannot be reached from the function clock.

TimestampTimerStalled

The timestamp counter did not start ticking.

UnsupportedRetransmitLimit

The retransmission limit is larger than MAX_RETRANSMIT_LIMIT.

UnsupportedSecondarySamplePoint

The secondary sample point cannot be placed where it was asked for.

The final position must stay inside four data bit times and inside the eight-bit offset field (TRM 38.3.7.3).

BusBusy

A transmission was still in flight and did not settle, so the configuration was not applied.

TransceiverModeLocked

The transceiver setting cannot change after a pin is assigned, because it decides how that pin is driven.
