Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

NoFreeTxBuffer

Every TX buffer holds a frame that is not yet finished.

RxBufferEmpty

The RX buffer holds no complete frame.

BusIntegrationTimeout

The controller did not become error-active in time.

The bus must be idle-recessive for 11 bit times before the controller can join it.

TransmitFailed

The controller gave up on the frame after its retransmission limit.

TransmitAborted

The transmission was aborted.

ControllerRunning

The operation needs the controller to be off the bus first.

ControllerStopped

The operation needs the controller to be on the bus; see CanFd::start.

AbortTimeout

A transmission did not settle in time after being aborted.
