FrameError

Enum FrameError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum FrameError { PayloadTooLong, NotClassic, }
Expand description

Errors that can occur when a frame is created.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

PayloadTooLong

The payload is longer than the frame format can carry.

Classic CAN frames carry up to 8 bytes, CAN FD frames up to 64.

§

NotClassic

The frame is a CAN FD frame, which a ClassicFrame cannot hold.
