Mode

Enum Mode

Source
pub enum Mode {
    Normal,
    ListenOnly,
    SelfTest,
    LoopbackSelfTest,
}
Expand description

How the controller participates on the bus.

Variants§

§

Normal

Transmits and receives normally.

§

ListenOnly

Receives only, never driving a dominant bit (TRM 38.3.12.4).

§

SelfTest

Treats a frame as transmitted even without an ACK (TRM 38.3.12.2).

Needed to transmit as the only node on a bus.

§

LoopbackSelfTest

Routes transmitted frames back into the RX buffer (TRM 38.3.12.1).

Also enables self test, because loopback alone still requires an ACK.
